Loading and offloading of CDs
A CD is not inserted into the computer like a tape record cassette, but instead you are provided with a tray on which you can place your audio and video. You have to be careful when grabbing CR-ROMS. Detachable carriage in some CD-ROM drives

With Auto insert Notification, Windows can play the CD automatically i.e. the DVD will play automatically after inserting it. If Windows can't play VD first, click on the Windows Start button (bottom left side of the screen), then go to Settings and click on Control Panel. After that, double-click the Systems icon, then click the Device Manager tab. Click the plus sign next to the CD-ROM, then double-click the name of your CD-ROM. Click on the Setting tab and make sure that there is a check mark on the Auto Insert Notification box, then click on OK to save the changes made. After that, click OK again to close the System Settings dialog box.
